About K- ROK Korean BBQ & Karaoke Soju Cocktail Bar
We are a restaurant dedicated to making you have an amazing Korean BBQ and street-food culinary experience. Oma (Mama) came here as an immigrant from Korea in 1977, and had dreams of owning her own business. Growing up, her mom passed away at the early age of 7 so she had to learn how to cook and farm for the family of 8. With the expertise of Hataboge (Grandpa) and Step Hamony (Step-Grandma) she learned how to cook from rock kitchen and farm fresh veggies, poultry and etc. All our food is how Korean food was made authentically the old school way, with hard work, love and smiles.

My husband and I had dinner here today, and we absolutely loved it! The atmosphere was warm, welcoming, and friendly, and the service was excellent from beginning to end. The owner/manager was very attentive, and his Korean mother is in charge of the kitchen, so you can really taste the authentic flavors and amazing seasoning in every dish. We were especially surprised to find that they offer thick-cut meats for the Korean BBQ, which made the experience even better. We tried several different types of meat, and every single one was tender, flavorful, and delicious. We also enjoyed the dumplings and the variety of side dishes, which were all fantastic. The all-you-can-eat Korean BBQ for only $29 is an incredible value. We left completely satisfied and canβt wait to come back. Definitely a 5-star experienceβhighly recommended!

βββββ A Must-Try! I found this place literally by following my nose. Had a fantastic evening because of the staff - two lovely young women bartending were attentive, and the manager (maybe owner?) was really cool to talk to. This spot perfectly blends authentic Korean tabletop barbecue with the fun of private karaoke rooms. You grill your own marinated meats right at the table (the galbi short ribs and bulgogi were standouts β tender, flavorful, and cooked exactly how you like). The banchan sides, kimchi, japchae, and other accompaniments were fresh and plentiful. Everything tastes homemade (thanks to βOmaβsβ family recipes), with great options for all-you-can-eat or Γ la carte. The energy ramps up when you hit the karaoke rooms β comfortable, private, and perfect for belting out tunes with friends or family after dinner. Soju cocktails and the overall vibe make it feel like a full night out without ever leaving the table. Service was friendly and helpful (they guide you on grilling if itβs your first time), and the downtown location is convenient near Rosa Parks Circle. If youβre in Grand Rapids and want great food, hands-on fun, and a memorable group experience, K-ROK is it. Hi

went out for samgyupsal with some friends and had a really good time. we kept grilling meat, talking, and eating way more than we planned. everything came out fresh and it was one of those meals where nobody was in a hurry to leave. definitely a fun spot to hang out with friends.

Average japchae. Seafood pancake has little seafood and too thick pancake. Both are large portion. The lighting makes you feel street food. Only 4 types of kimchi available as side dish

A must try for sure. Jeyuk Bokkem was fantastic. Edit: Went back a second time for the Bulgogi. Better than Kawa by far.
